    Tumbler Ridge

There is some great riding here mastin. No grooming in the areas we ride and we still need a bit more snow, but there was 2 feet of fresh last Saturday in Hasler so the snowpack is building. I haven't rode Tumbler this year so I can't give you first hand news about their areas, but I have...

    Avalanche pack

I've had ABS and Snowpulse (my current bag). If I was buying a new one I would go with the Jetforce for a few reasons. There is no cylinder that needs to be refilled if you deploy it, either through necessity or by accident. If you want to travel with the bag there are no restrictions because...

Horgan premier of BC calls Snap Election

Wow, my kids are the youngsters you speak of in your post. They work hard to get what they have at the same time raising families. I am one of the oldsters in this province and I did not vote for Horgan or the Greens, I support oil and gas and the logging industries. Maybe a little less broad...

Your lifes most memorable moments in time

There have been many. Watching a child coming into this world has to be the tops for me, my kids and some of their kids. Watching a big albino cow moose come up out of the Prophet River at 5 am while I was rounding up horses. Fog was just lifting and sun was just breaking through it. Driving...

    moose

I used my bow with blunts to scare off a cow and 2 calves, shot her in the chest at 40 yards and never saw her again. 10 minutes before this alleged shooting she would have stomped me to death if I didn't have my 4 legged buddy beside me at 4:30 in the morning.

    need someone

This can be done safely with 6 20 ton hydraulic jacks and about 600 pipeline skids. I know because I did this 2 years ago, raised my place 5 ft then lowered it back onto the foundation. It's not fun and it's a grueling job, but it definitely can be done safely.
