Hello,
Are the Bell and Lucille riding areas in the Cariboos or the Monashees & Selkirks?
On the avalanche site they are shown in North Columbia but it does not break it down into ranges and the forecasts are different for each range.
Thanks in advance
:)
Great Thread!
Me and my buddy's started riding in the mountains over 25 years ago.
No mountain experience at all. I think it helped that we were riding 1981 El tigre's and lots of trips we were lucky to get to the cabin let alone anywhere else.
Stuck, Stuck and then stuck. Sure taught you some...
I use the Gill vents, they pull the air out of the sled like on a race car.
First trip to the mountains I couldn’t touch my clutch without gloves.
Second trip no gloves.
I bought them from Dave Gant at API and I believe they are manufactured in Calgary.
$200 Canadian, no customs charges.
Try API
They have the Skinz line.
They are out of Calgary, Guys name is Dave Gant.
Superior service!, this guy worked right to the bell to get me my parts on time.:)
Heres a link
SKINZ
Good question
I think my stock jets are 470's..08 800R 154
Specialty sleds told me to put in 450's.
I bought a set but have not installed them yet, kind of wondering if anyone else has jetted down.
Just got down from Chappel a couple hours ago.
Sunny day until about 3:30 and then it started coming down big time.
Still managed to find lots of fresh snow in the trees, excellent day!
We were the only 4 sleds up there today, trail in was like a highway.
Hi Everyone
Does any one know if I can access Garner lake form the Iron horse trail on a snowmobile.
I would be riding from Ashmont towards Spedden.
Some one told me there was a cutline I am not sure how to access it.
Thanks in advance :)
