Round steel for me. I had an incident when I was crossing railroad tracks. The carbide wedged between the gap in the rail. What are those odds? Took some time to get it unstuck. No train dodge that day.

The update for the Peips allows the unit to automatically go back to transmit mode after the search mode has been enabled. A preset time. If you're caught in an avy while searching this is a good update.
They also perform a complete system check of all the features.

I bought a Kubota RTV 500 from a guy that used it on site in the oil and possibly mining industry.
This grey box is velcroed on the dash and connects to a black box velcroed under the dash. There are no markings or numbers on either. The green light is always on, whether the machine is running...
Just have to do something about the insurance people. Not happy with them at all. Constantly called to set up a meeting. When I asked for a number to call them back once I figured out a good time, they hung up. Will not opt for the "free" coverage this year.
I have the same annual chore. Sometimes I'm lucky and can borrow a large power sweeper from work. They're getting stickier these days about lending it out. 4 foot landscape rake works but it's a work out.
Looking for ideas to edge a long gravel driveway.
My driveway is about 200 feet. I did about 50 feet on one side with a shovel and I like the way it looks. I've pulled a few large stones so I'm not sure I could rent a power edger since the blades will probably get damaged.
