I'm looking for a new bike was thinking a used street glide or Electra glide but looked at a Voyager and I can get a new 2018 for less than the cost of a used Harley. Does anyone have one? Just wondering if any body has any thoughts on this bike.
Used to ride this area a lot probably 10 years ago we used to camp just after the pavement before the Sunpine Rd across the road from the old fire lookout. Went to the falls many times but used to go from the Sunpine Rd and cross the creek many times to get there all closed now followed that...
Yea ditto on the generator thing I have a Yamaha 2000 and with 2 six' only need to run it every 4 or 5 days. Why is it the guy with one tired 12 volt battery always has the powerfist industrial generator and runs it all day long every day
Like everyone else I use 2 six volts and I have a battery monitor when it drops below 12 volts I charge with a gen set but not directly just plug the trailer in and use the built in charger in the winter I store them in the house. I also have switched all the interior bulbs for low draw LCD...
I would stick with the Grizzly. I bought a 2014 new was also looking at the Outlander but the Grizzly cost less and I have had many Yamahas and never had a bad one. Before I bought the Grizz I had a Rapter 700 plus many dirt bikes. When I bought the Grizz 3 of my friends all bought Outlander...
Yea nothing holds their value like a HD but the intial cost to buy the Indian is much lower. The one I am looking at is the Cheiftain. Probably looking to buy next year I want to get a new bike and have it paid for before I retire and this will probably be the last bike I buy so resale is not a...
Does anyone have one of these I am thinking of getting a new road bike was looking at a used HD Street glide but I could get a new Indian with more features for less $ just wondering if anyone has one the good the bad. Not looking for any brand bashing
Yea checked it out camped before Town for a few days than tried the other side near Bever Dam Rd did caw ridge and Mt Hamel good place to ride will definitely have to go back some day. It's nice being that close to town if you run out of anything it's only ten minutes away. Not as remote as...
Agreed we all need to vote against the NDP in the next election or the whole province will be a park if they get in again Brian Jean is guy to keep areas open.
I don't know about that I had a bad crash many years ago winding it out in sixth gear on my ATK 406 broke my helmet my arm and got a cuncussion didn't injure my neck but lived to tell the tale thanks to the helmet
Yea I think I'm going to give it a try need to replace my steel cable anyway I will have to get a rope fairlead but they have them on Amazon too for about $30 so shouldn't be into it for more than $70 so if doesn't work out not out to much cash
I got two 6V Trogen batteries replaced all the interior bulbs with LED bulbs flipped the axils for more ground clearance and a no chit surprise valve as well
Hey has anyone tried any of the cheaper winch ropes for sale on Amazon they have them for $30 to $50 or is this a case of you get what you pay for and they are junk I have been wanting to switch to synthetic but have been holding off due to the high cost.
Anyone ride in this area and know if there is any radom camping/campsites you can ride from no interest in staying in a campsite you have load and unload every time you want to go for a ride. We ride at fallen timber all the time and some of our group suggested Grand Cache might be a good place...
