correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't this the push turbo we've been reading about in the mags. i remember them stating that it's ment for 6000 ft + elevation.
Ya the manual says to do it every 20000 km (seems long) but i wanted to change the filter as it is just finished it's breakin period and it just feels wrong to change the oil without the filter.
Believe me I'm tempted to sell it but it's the wife's sled and i don't have the extra coin to do that. Never should've bought it, but hindsight is always 2020.
So I'm trying to get the sleds ready for the season, oil change, grease and such.... but i and one issue.... how the he!! do you change the oil filter on a newer phazer??? I just can't get at it. The nytro was easy and is done, but the phazer is impossible, makes me regret buying it.
must be a unlucky thing to ga for a ride on your b-day, totaled my nytro last year on my b-day, looks like your sled faired better than mine, good luck on the rebuild
This is a great site, wish i would have found it sooner. Only been here a short while but have learned lots and a few laughs too. Spend more time on here than i should.
Bought a couple sleds from Bob at E&S last year....can't say anything but good things about them, not sure of the prices of the new 2010 though. Great service.
Just put some duratracs on my truck and love 'em. Had toyo m55's before, too noisy but good milage, will have to see how the duratracs hold up. They're nice and quiet and have great traction in the snow and ice. only payed 270 installed and ballanced for 285-75-16's.
I too just went from a moto style helmet to a mudular, and love it. Like everyone says it's warmer, you get less snow in the helmet, and i find it less closterphobic. Another big plus for me is that i can wear my glasses in it without real big fogging issues.
yammi doesn't make a phazer xtx. had the wifes phazer in whitecourt last spring and wasn't the only one surprised where it could go, could follow the "big" boys pretty much everywhere only slower and not up the step hills
