Is this the spot on the left side with all the broke trees scattered around? I was wondering what that was since I’ve never noticed those broken trees before...
This post has me thinking of trying something else. The sidehill on my 850T is decent, but if the snow is so so, its a beast to hold it on line. In deep snow I find it wants to either washout or climb back up hill, maybe my foot position isn't ideal?
I agree with the ruts and crappy snow...
Could use some more snow at Renshaw, that warm day settled the snow pretty good. Found a few decent spots, but it was pretty wind blown and firm. Especially compared to last weekends blower pow.
Had fun though, burned a tank. Good times, with Ron, Brian and group.
Was in Clemina yesterday, pretty pounded and not much fresh, about 8-12 inch ontop of firm. Was hard to turn and dip a ski in.. We found some decent snow in some cut blocks up on km 16 or so.
Yea, I always blast the boost a couple times hard, on off throttle, the pressure from closing the throttle plate, sends boost out the vents and causes it to blow the snow off.
5 days is about normal running temp. I click the button on the dash and actually watch temp on trail up and down always. Im about 50-65c on trail up down usually. If its really warm or ice, I have to stop and throw snow on the tunnel, ive hit the over heat a couple times this year going up in...
The 2020.5 has been problem free, skidoo really nailed this sled, the engineering when you pop the hood is a work of art. The tune is flawless. Its not like when the 850 came out there was a bit of headaches, they are pull and go.
