Yeah, apparently. I am going to look at the first Summit I put in the the thread tomorrow afternoon.....my friend just bought a 2014 Pro RMK 800 155" track.....so jealous...
I'm hoping to get it for $3,000. I sold my 2006 Summit 1000 151" for $4650 with 2200 km's on it and a broken bumper. And thanks for the advice. I've never been a big fan of handlebar risers, mainly just because I hate the way they look and find they suck when you just want to sit down, but maybe...
I'm looking at getting a 670 Summit X because I needed to sell my Summit 1000 for budgeting reasons and now need something cheaper. The one I'm looking at is bone stock with 1900 km's on it. Once I get it, I want to do some mods that will cause it to have better floatation in the deep snow and...
That's what I've heard. My dad owned a 670 Summit X, but only got to put 40km's on it before it was stolen. He owned a 700 Summit afterwards though, and it was extremely reliable. The CDI went in it, but that was the only thing to go wrong in the many years he owned it. And I have a friend with...
Thank-you all for the warm welcome! I had to sell the 1000 after only putting 200 km's on it. :( My buddy and I co-own a trailer, and his snowmobile and the trailer were sitting in front of his house and was stolen. I can't afford to pay my half of a new trailer, so I had to sell the 1000 and...
When I posted this I had no intentions of selling mine. A series of events occured and I had to sell the 1000. It was sold today. I had a trailer that I co-owned with a friend (really old crappy two place trailer) and while I was out of the country last week, my sled was in his backyard and his...
So, would a fair conclusion be that the Summit 1000 will destroy an Arctic Cat 900 in every way, and the Summit 1000 will get the highmark and win the drag race, but in technical riding the M1000 is a better sled? Btw, modman that is a very nice M1000!
Thanks for the replies! It was purely curiosity. I have a 2006 Summit 1000 151" track and just wanted to know how it stacked up compared to the Arctic Cat.
I've been trying to find some information on which has more power, which climbs better, which is faster, which handles better, etc, etc, but can't seem to find anything. So what do you guys think between a Summit 1000 and a 1000cc Arctic Cat, or even the 900cc Arctic Cat?
I can't believe this is even a question. If I drove the 7 hours to get to the mountain and paid to stay in a hotel for the weekend and got there and my beacon stopped working and I was unable to rent one, I wouldn't ride. Beacon, probe, shovel, MANDATORY. They are also mandatory if you want to...
So I'm a new member to snow and mud. Been reading the posts for over a year, but didn't actually join until a couple of days ago. This is the first post I'm making. I'm 19 now, started snowmobiling when I was about 5 years old on a late 80's Ski-Doo Citation LS 250cc fan cooled. As a christmas...
