Proclimb era 800 HO parts on an 09 M8... (posted in Proclimb thread)

The 2010 engine is not "completely" different, but it is different to be sure. Bottom case is identical (crank is different). By the sound of it so far, the proclimb head will bolt right on, and the y-pipe will fit with a little massaging. Don't know about the reeds, probably the same surface...

Proclimb era engine parts on an 09 M8

Anyone know if you can direct swap any parts off a proclimb era 800 HO on to the 2009 800? Reason I ask is I have a bunch of brand new take off parts from my '14 PC big bore build and I'm thinking about swapping the head and the Y-pipe to my almost stock 09 M8 (can only). I saw an ad on Kijiji...

Some crazy fun riding over the last couple days

Nice to see fluffy fresh white stuff in BC, even if it is down south... Hopefully the storm system moving south from up Yukon way will deposit a boatload of it up here in the Northern Rockies. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks to the a$$holes that stole our gas at the morresey staging area

Re: Thanks to the assholes that stole our gas at the morresey staging area Water freezes. Alcohol/Methanol throws off the smell. Sugar dissolves nicely in gasoline. Pretty sure it has no smell... 1 pound in a 20L jerry can oughtta do.

Do you wear an Avalanche Air Bag in the Mountains

I will bet money that you didn't get in to as many hairy spots riding your 1989 "_________" as the average rider can get in to now. Different times, different technology. I think the machines we have now come with higher chance of risk due to their capabilities. To help insure your level of risk...

Timing Key for 2014 M8 Pro Climb

I run a 2.5 degree timing key on my '14 M8000 Bikeman 900 Big Bore. But why are you interested in that topic? Like CatMan16 said, you need to run a different primary spring to lower engagement. Did you buy the stage 2 Bikeman clutch kit? If so what spring came with it and what spring do you have...
