Correction of my previous post. It was not my intent to infer that EVERYONE taking the back way in to Lucille is doing so to avoid paying trail fees. Many of the local riders taking that route have purchased season's passes. It may look like they are avoiding the collection booth but that is...
-4, light snow and no wind this morning. About four inches of snow on the hot tub overnight. Mountains are socked in right now. Looks good for this weekend.
About four inches on my hot tub this morning when I got up. Will put a picture in McBride Conditions when it gets lighter outside.
The Rockies (Renshaw) side of the valley has been getting more snow than the Cariboos (Belle and Lucille) all winter. All three areas have good sledding, but...
Thanks to Scott and his group we have filled the B & B for March 28 weekend. Should be a good one. Forecast is for cool temps and more snow up top.
Still have rooms available the first two weekends of April.
Just got off the phone with the leader of our group for March 28 weekend. They had to cancel their trip, so I now have the house available for any of you wishing to make last minute plans. We also have openings the first two weeks of April. You can PM me or phone (250) 569-0226. Thanks...
Snowed again all day at higher elevations - not sure how much has accumulated up there. Some flurries in town that melted right away. Looks like you will have some fresh stuff to play in this weekend.
+2 in town this morning. Wind comes and goes. Snowing at higher elevations with the odd flake falling in town. Roads are clear. Kind of a dull day today.
I agree with 007. If I remember correctly, your incident happened just before we got our huge dumps of snow. If you know the exact spot to dig, it will probably be about 6 to 8 feet down through some hardened snowpack.
Minus 5, no wind and snowing. A couple inches on the hot tub since this morning. Mountains socked in all day. I haven't talked to anyone that was up there today, but I'm thinking you should have some fresh stuff to play in this weekend.
-11 this morning, sunny bluebird skies and no wind. Looks like more of the same through the weekend as well. No new snow, but the cold will keep things crystallized and is great for the groomed trails. Avalanche risk is high, so be aware of your surroundings up there at all times. Lots of...
Woke up to a couple of inches of snow on the hottub and patio this morning. There should have at least been enough snowfall at the higher elevations to cover everyone's tracks from last weekend.
