-4 today, no wind and light snow. I still don't know how much snow fell up top, but I do believe there will be some trenching involved this weekend. Barry is still out plowing snow.

Barry has a plan for that porcupine. Renshaw cabin renovations in a couple weeks SHOULD fix the problem. We will see - that porcupine even ate a bunch of pink insulation last year. Ouch!!!
Happy New year everyone.

Busy couple of days for Search and Rescue, hospital, chopper, RCMP and ambulance crews in McBride. PLEASE be careful out there. Use your heads, remember your avy training and leave the liquor in your hotel...
Your assistance was invaluable in helping out the kids. They mentioned a number of times how much they appreciated the sledders that stayed with them and helped out with the search. Thank you for caring. I hope karma gets the fu**tards that stole your tarps.
We have been successful. Some sledder friends from Red Deer have been kind enough to donate the tin for our cabin roof. We would like to thank everyone that answered our call, and a special thank you goes out to our Red Deer connection. More details on the Renshaw cabin expansion will follow...
Renshaw is currently socked in. Looks like snow, but I can't tell how much. Maybe someone up there today will post. The snow lines on Belle and Lucille have come down quite a bit so there has to be some fresh up there too. At least that fricking wind died down.
