I have numerous customers that haul 14' trailers. As posnick stated 3500lbs to 4000lbs is what you are realistically hauling. The key is braking axles and a good brake controller so the trailer is stopping itself. Attached is a few photos of a Nissan and a Ridgeline hauling 14'ers.

Typically I'm $3,000.00 to $3,500.00 depending on application. That's for a 36,000 BTU furnace, furnace box, 2 x 12 volt batteries, 110 to 12 volt charger, 2 x 30lb propane tanks which are full, auto switch regulator etc...
It's fully ready to roll when you pick it up.

I have a set of ramps that I back the trailer onto , there about 16" high. That is usually more then enough for him to get under with a creeper. I block the wheels and use a large block under the tongue jack. My shop is between Edmonton and Spruce Grove. Your more than welcome to use them if...
