Hey there group..being the Trail Steward Coordinator for the IHT; it's not the issue of quads on snowmobile trails; the issue is 'quadders' destroying signage on the trail. The past few weeks I've had problems with a few quadders that are bending over our signs; stop signs; stop ahead; etc...

Grooming update; IHT was groomed from St.Paul to Ashmont to Vilna to Smoky Lake last Sunday; than Smoky to Wasteneau and back Monday. Just finished grooming from Vilna to Mallaig Tuesday night; with tons of new fresh snow in the past few days; Great! Now the boys from Bonnyville are working on...

Quads and Groomed trails don't mix; but that's been around for quite some time now; and I do not want to open a can of worms here; BUT; THIS IS A PROBLEM; we have a select few 'idiots' on Quads that are running up & down the IHT right here in St.Paul which are creating a little havic; burning...

Quick update on IHT, put on 180 kms North East of St.Paul; snow was pretty good; riding was great; but fences are getting in the way each and every year; so riding places are getting limited...that's why the Iron Horse Trail is so nice; can get to a lot of places and you can get miles put on...

Hi Bogger; your area was just groomed last Fri/Sat; so the IHT is in great shape. You can get your trail passes from any of the St.Paul Trailblazers or at any of the 4 sled dealers in St.Paul. The ASA trail passes are good for all of trails along with all of the other ASA club trails in Alberta...

Just a little note; if you intend on riding the St.Paul Rally; we are selling 'advance tickets' for this Rally; so it would be best to get them early; if at possible.... conditions as of today are great; snow is set up and the rally trail is already in good condition...... :cool: keep you all...

Latest report on the Iron Horse Trail; groomed Thursday from St.Paul to Spedden; than groomed Vilna; with a little set back because groomer was running a little warm; but hopefully the boys will groom to Smoky Lake/Wasketneau this weekend. No; we did not get rain in the NE; snow is holding up...

Just a note on Rally's in the NE; St.Paul Trailblazer's is on Sunday, February 15th and Myrnam's is the day before; Saturday, February 14th......12 miles apart from each other and you could ride 2 Rally's in 2 days....... Just a thought and idea :cool:

The St.Paul Trailblazer's will be hosting thier snowmobile rally on Sunday; February 15th, 2009 at Lac Bellvue Hall which is 12 kms south of St.Paul on SR #881. The Rally will be held on +/- 100 kms of groomed scenic trails south of St.Paul with 'Cash Prizes' and many door prizes. Only 200...
