Personally I would just buy the mountain sled. I have seen many people buy the crossfire for the same thing you do with it, then spend hundreds of dollars transforming it into an m series a year later. You can trail ride an m series with no troubles, but mountain riding a crossfire isn't as easy.
Dick cepek FCII. 35/12.50/18. Just switched this winter. Amazing traction. With 2 sleds on the deck and the programmer on mild you really have to try and make it spin on hard pack snow in 2WD
Sporting goods in lac la biche does a great job selling sleds. After you buy...good luck getting service or parts. They need a whole revamp on the service and parts end for me to ever think of spending a dime there.
I use them, one thing is...keep them lubed up. After one year I have one front clamp that is so seized you cannot turn the adjuster. (Steel and aluminum + road salt) so I think it's trash time for that one. Otherwise they are the cats meow.
The Apple tv 3 cannot be jail broken yet.. So the deals on Kijiji for the jailbroken model is a good deal IMO. Free movies as soon as they are released in theaters, free PPV, local channels are free. I paid 300 for mine jail broken. Worth much much more considering i have no satelite tv bill...
Best I have ever got was 10.5 liter per 100. Empty at 100 km an hour. That's going by the instant economy, not very accurate by any means. Never really did work it out on paper
I had the same set up on my 08, lift, delete, 35s. At 110 down hwy 16 I was around 18liter per 100. Any faster and it was way over 20 liters per 100 km
With all the weight on the truck with a sled deck and two sleds you can pretty much go absolutely anywhere in 2 wheel drive, icy highways, deep snow. I'm never going to pull a trailer after being in vale last year, Clemina parking lots was a obstacle course of guys pulling their enclosed trailer...
Funny thing, My 2011 dodge 3500 box is 74 inches.( 6 feet 2 inch) my marathon deck is getting modified to fit. (all i needed was maybe an inch and the tail gate would have closed) Had to run with no tail gate last year. Quite a jack around to get the deck to fit.
