No I said parts and service. Selling units is important to meet your dealership quota but is minimal in the large scheme of things for overall profitability. Where I end up on the dealers priority list - who cares.
I looked into buying a dealership a few years ago - margins on sleds are next to nothing!
If you really want to support your local dealer - buy parts from them and take your sled there. I support guys that I have a relationship with (eg Summitric just took some of my money last week) but have...
I am looking at putting one on a sled I bought in the US. The US price is 3,999 USD plus 2 hours install - seems reasonable and the guy said 200 hp on pump gas.
Yamaha does not transfer warranty - worst case scenario you drive it back down if motor blows. If the plan is to Turbo anyways then there is no warranty either way.
I have imported many times now and it does not create any extra problems provided your paperwork is in order.
At $2,000 savings...
I have bought lots of sleds and cars from the US but never heavy equipment.
Can anyone with experience advise......looking at Cat 40 tonne rock hauler.
Cheers....Al
On par with US dollar - anyone doing some border shopping?
Here's some pricing $10,300 USD for 2010 Yamaha Nytro MTX brand new.
Canadian price $12,500.
$2,000 Canadian price savings...........worth the drive?????
I can see why a large percentage of cost is attributable to labour. The GS stuff also can be applied in colder conditions. The Rustoleum product I am working with is over 15 degrees, with a concrete surface temp of minimum 13 degrees. That is why I am trying to get out of work early today - nice...
I gave them a call - for a 24 by 24 garage the quote was $5,000. I thought that was a little steep so went with the diy kit. But after spending 3 days on prep I have certainly rethought my decision several times.
I will have $500 in once I am finished - at most $600
Well - about 2 1/2 solid days of prep work and tomorrow night I will be laying down the expoxy floor covering - what a lot of work. The prep work is a killer - Sanding, chemical paint stripper, washing, re-washing, etching, vacuuming, expoxy concrete crack filler, more vacuuming etc All I can...
Did a little more research - available from Yamaha directly in the US and a Yorkton artic cat dealership has the Canadian distribution rights. Anyone know the price in Canada?
Just saw spoke to a dealer today - said 200 hp on pump gas. Bolt on in 2 hours. Easy install. Yamaha turbo does not void warranty. More info would be great if anyone has any. I would rather not be part of the R&D process if these are not proven but like the number 200 and the price.
Was talking to a dealer today and he mentioned a new 200 Turbo available dirtectly from Yamaha that does not void your warranty (I believe he called it PUSH) 2 hours off install bolt on and bolt off. Anyone know of this? Normal pump gas below, but good idea to run some race below 6000ft. I am...
Fingers crossed - may need 7 of these - will know within a few weeks. In the meantime if you guys know of anyone that have newer Commander C units for sale please pm me.
Wondered if anyone had used these guys for freeing up equity in a home???
Looking at doing something and thought this might be a way to go. Bank will not HELOC this property we have as it is 1930's build and I do not wish to mortage it.
Anyone had any experience with these guys?
