Let me qualify this by saying we are Skinz dealers. The Skinz kit is a true 4.5 inch forward kit that has addressed both the castor angle, how far your spindle sits from the 90 degree to the side which will actually pull the ski back they have adjusted this angle from 18 degrees to 22 degrees...
We never have and never will for the simple fact that we ride with kids all the time. Our kids are aged from soon to be 21 to 6 and one of the things that I say to my older kids is "you don't need to be drinking all the time" or "you don't have to have alcohol involved with everything" or some...
I had a talk with Kevin from K- Mod and this is what I learned about the shocks that come with the K-Mod suspensions and the difference between the 2 choices of shock packages. Both of the shocks on the rear of the K MOD skid are made specific to the length and stroke of the coupling skid...
Is the K-Mod worth it on a stock sled? Really it's what you want out of your riding experience? The skies the limit on what and where you spend your money on your sled. For some people it is the power they will get out of a turbo for others like me I would rather spend the money on the...

I re-read your post Shoppingcart111 and I see you have BMF boards. I can't really advise you on the installation of their boards because I haven't ever installed a set of their boards nor have I read a set of their instructions. I would think though that your boards should have come with a set...
The Skinz hood does use the OEM hinge mounts and gauges. You do however need aftermarket light kits. The gauges are just plug and play too no big deal.

I have one Skinz mesh hood in stock if you are interested in something like that. The nice thing about the Skinz hood is they come in 3 pieces that you put together plus the mesh. So if you roll your sled or whatever and mangle a piece you can either take it to a local welding shop to be fixed...
Have it setup for 110 VAC lights and plug ins as well. It is very handy to be able to plug in at the house of motel and have lights rather than running the truck. Also good for electric heaters and battery chargers amd not having to leave the doors cracked to get extension cords in and out.
