    Highest HP PRO

I'm sure you could make this engine make 300 hp for a few minutes if you had a lot of money to burn...but why?!? Most don't have the skills to ride a stock 800 to its full potential at the best of times! If you have money use it for gas and oil to improve your skills and put as many miles on in...

Low idle and gauge won't light up

Tps setting should be .940 at idle, with base setting at .700, I'd check that.

    Pcv app for iphone

Wouldn't it be great if there was an app available for the iphone that allowed you to fine tune your map while out on a ride! I do like the pcv for its fine tuning capabilities but what a pain not being able to adjust fuel settings on the fly.

SLP stage 2 on Polaris pro 800

Did you sync your pcv to your tps? What map are you running? Try installing a switch on the pcv and installing a low elevation map and run that untill you get up in elevation.

    Time for a fix kit

Inspect your cylinder skirts carefully for cracks while you have it apart. If your haven't already I'd turn up your oiler a couple turns as well.

    Piston/Cylinder Clearance Measurment Question

The sooner the better. After your cylinder skirt breaks off and your crank eats it, well then it's too late. When you have it apart inspect your cylinder skirts carefully for cracks. Some guys change out the stock pistons with 0 miles on them just to be sure. It's a known fact that these motors...

    Pre-Season Maintenance

Never a bad idea to do maintenance. Warranty won't pay for a chopper to get your sled off the mountain.

    Pre-Season Maintenance

There are a few options when it comes to the fuel filter, you can carefully cut the old fittings off of your existing filter assembly and reuse them. A few things to make sure of is to use hi pressure Efi fuel tubing and clamps and to use a filter that has a fine enough micron count. I used an...

    Pre-Season Maintenance

Also a good idea to inspect oil injection lines for chafe damage or any loose lines/fittings, freshen up primary and secondary springs, inspect weight bushings for wear, inspect/ replace loose steering bushings or upgrade to oolite bushings, inspect/replace engine mounts, inspect reeds for any...

Fix kit maps for pro with pc5

I'm running a mtntk fix kit with a stock head and an slp stage 2 map, I initially ran the fix kit with the stock pipe and an mbrp can without the pcv and honestly it seemed to run better than it does now. I want to believe that the slp pipe and can with the pcv will make more power than a stock...

Fix kit maps for pro with pc5

Just wondering if anyone here has had any luck with a map for the pro 800 with a fix kit and a slp single pipe installed. I installed the pc5 last season and have tried the 0-3000 and 3000-6000 maps from slp but am still not entirely happy with the way it runs curious if anyone knows of a...
