Last time I was out there these areas you speak of were pretty tracked out. Prob not allowed but I don't see the issue. I never will when it comes to this stuff. In the summer in fluz areas I get the staying on trail part with water, swamp, muskeg etc but in the winter especially snow machine...

Saw your red groomer leaning against the tree as well today. No idea what trail it was on, but we saw it. :) Kind of missed the Etherington staging area so ended up parking at Cataract. We did find one trail that had been groomed but no other sled tracks which was kind of a surprise.
