Yep, I have said it multiple times on here, best deals are NOT cash, they are through finance. Because of kickbacks.
You need to ride the first month, then pay the finance company out. The only catch is making sure its an open loan that allows you to do that.
Correct, there is no adjustment for something like that. I ended up using a file and creating clearance by filing one of the coils causing the issue. The coil had a very faint rub line from the flywheel magnets that their tech. missed or didn't know.
The dealer just kept throwing parts at it and...
Yes I have actually ran in to that, its a clearance issue between a coil and stator. It took for ever to find it and the dealer couldn't find it because it didn't fall within their training guide lines LOL.
The tight clearances causes a dead short frying the stator. Let your dealer know to check...
Just turned over 500kms last Sunday, came out of break in sometime Friday.
I'm disappointed, was looking forward to changing out the spark plugs and packing out a clutch. Maybe next time.
True, but is your Sidewinder really a Sidewinder? imo nope.
About 45lbs difference between a G5 175 turbo and my Winder, but not much is OE Winder about it, it has its roots from a Sidewinder though.
Absolutely not, in fact I ride a lot with guys that can only get a few rides a season. I've been there at times and appreciated it when I got out. Thus why I adjust and ride style, (me mentally) according to who I ride with.
At the end of a ride I always show my appreciation for ME tagging along.
I generally ride 3 days a week, Friday, Saturday, Sunday or I'll switch Friday for Monday. From January to April, starting New Years day till mid April. Also generally do 2 major road trips, one to Valemount/McBride as a TOURIST LOL to ride with friends from Hinton and another to Pemberton to...
By the time EV sleds become a thing, we will have to put wheels on them because snow will be something of the past.
I started sledding in the 70's and as the decades have gone by the snow has gotten less and winter's rideable months shorter.
Glad I got to experience what a real winter feels...
I get it, my wife will take it or leave it now.
I've done 100 plus seasons with Chad Rebec back in the day, all over BC, Yukon and Alaska but not anymore.
Age and knowing key zones here keeps me more grounded. I still log in 30-40+ rides depending on the year, this year coming a lot short but...
Wow, you surprised me, that actually came from you.
Seat time out there and not on S&M is what makes an awesome backcountry rider. LOL. Some have natural talent others need to work harder but seat time will put anyone above others that ride little.
If you get a dozen mountain trips out of a...
Thats because the Doo guys rode the little bus to school when they were young, not much else in life makes them feel more important then being on a handicap built machine. On the other hand it also dubs as mobility device for some elderly folks needing some form of out door activity, its just...
4yrs on mine. My option, 1yr factory, the extra 3 were thrown in either as a price discount on the unit or take. I took as this will remain fully stock as my backup or low snow conditions.
Doubt it, BCSF at best of times can’t get their ch!t together.
They are a non polarized organization, fighting amongst them self, club against clubs, east vs west. Essentially they are a joke.
Correct, the bolt is tightening and breaking.
The material used for the spider has been changed (tougher stronger)and was the cause of the bolt breaking. Polaris took it a step further and also up graded the bolt.
The bolt will tighten when the throttle is released, tinny bits at a time till it...
I think you nailed it here, I don't think the so called out of town riders/tourist are your issues here.
It will be locals, having knowledge of the terrain and knowing the routs into these places is not what most tourist will have. After driving so many hour to ride a limited amount of time...
