Congrats on your truck.
As for dealer comparisons, I'd wait and see, hopefully it will be better. I've experienced crappy dealerships both domestic and import.
I hope you hear something about your sleds or better yet get a chance to reach out and touch the cowards that took them. I am also in Tuscany, just east from your place. Will also
keep a lookout.
I just brought home a new 2015 F250 CC w/6.2L in XLT trim. Has every option I was looking for except 4.30 gears, like others have said only way to get is to order a new truck. The rebates and incentives on remaining 2015's were too good to pass up. Considering the price of used '11's to '15's...
Been in a situation as described here, coming back over the pass in zero vis conditions, let late after getting one machine stuck on BC side. A memorable trip and glad we all made it out safe.
Private license, that's different then. As you gain experience you'll find the 172 isn't the best but a good introduction and leave you wanting more. If you don't have your PPL yet then I'd recommend condensing the first 10-20hrs of training, fly mutiple times a week. As it would be new...
Wanted this for 15 years? Curious how old you are? The older we become the harder it is to start a career in aviation.
I've flown 172's lots, I agree with those who say its underpowered as a floatplane. A 180 or 185 is better but much more money and I see that's where the $300/hr came from...
I recently had the same problem with Costco rebalancing wheels on my wife' van. Made the problem worse after the first rebalance, had to return again to get it fixed. This was the northwest Costco in Calgary. Not sure what went wrong other than inexperience doing the job.
Stability in Iraq will never come under western intervention. Bush was an idiot to go in there in the first place. It's all about racial and religious purity in the Middle East and certainly an intolerance to any societal blending. Stability will only come when the next dictator gains control...
I'm sure the service writers think we the customers are dumb. I hate explaining crap to them, they have no idea and pretend they do.
As for the service departments....wife's Honda van had a coolant leak from day one, went in 11 times before they fixed it. In the end the leak was exactly where...
Sure a reputable dealership will fix it and take good care of the customer while admitting and accepting responsibility. The only problem now is that prior to the accident we'll assume the vehicle was accident free, no body work/bondo/repaint. Now for certain this vehicle will require some...
There is no lane discipline on roads in Calgary.
And what's with all the traffic after midnight on a Friday night, driving home from work felt like I was in daytime/rush hour traffic.
My Dad has some restored tractors, been doing that for many years. Has afew John Deere...D, AR, R (unrestored), JD Combine, Massey 55, many engines & pumps, old railroad baggage cart, etc.
Agreed, it's all insurance companies. I first heard about it when my Dad got his renewal from Wawanesa, separate riders for wind/hail and sewer backup increase. $2500 deductible that one can buy down. I asked my insurance Co, Intact, who by the way has been great so far also said their...
Landline vs cellphones
Granted duplicate costs make having only a cellular phone enticing
BUT one thing not considered or understood by most is when you contact 911. A landline will immediately place the callers address in the hands of the 911 dispatcher. This is useful for the person who...
My thoughts & prayers are for the victims of this senseless tragedy, the parents who don't have their children coming home tonight, the children who lost their youthful innocence living thorugh this, to the teachers who bravely tried to protect the kids, the police & paramedics who responded to...
