Wife had an 05 Golf TDI, 55mpg avg without a problem. Sold it when the kidlets came along but would buy another in a second. did one trip from Edmonton to Kimberley BC and back on 90litres of fuel with a ski box on the roof. Tough to beat the VW diesel.
Built one last year for my old travel trailer. Welded a 2" receiver to 1/8" plate steel then bolted it to the rear bumper using another 1/8th " steel plate on top. Basically sandwiched the bumper. Inspected it after each trip, worked great all Summer until the last trip to Meadow Lake in...
Lost one of the plastic pieces of crap on the first ride. Think for the price I'll try out the guards. I'd rather clean the mud out of them than have to replace a CV boot or axle. They are pretty exposed.
I am ordering the EMP front and rear a-arm guards tomorrow. Think I will forgo the skid plate and spend the money on getting some extra clearance instead. Picked up a pre-runner front bumper from cycle works yesterday as well.
Spent all day at Bruderheim with the family and friends yesterday. Got checked twice, once by the RCMP and once by the CO's. Have absolutely no issue with this, hopefully it will keep the morons and idiots that are spoiling this area for the rest of us away.
Now for my rant... why is it that...
Don't have one but I have put a few miles on a friend of mines 08. Nice bike, far more comfortable than the electra glide he used to have. doesn't feel big and heavy like a road glide.
Ride just about everything. When the kidlets are on board it's mostly trails and pretty tame stuff, when it's just the guys, the more mud the better. I looked at a set of 28 zillas on 14" itp wheels but was told I'd meed a 2 inch lift for them to work. DOn't want to lift right now b/c of the...
Want to upgrade the tires on my base rzr from the stock 25's to 26 or 27's, most likely going to go with the maxxis bighorn 2.0.
Does anyone know how big I can go with the stock rims without going to a wheel spacer as well. I know there is a motor mount on the rear right side that gets in the...
anyone have any suggestions, is the skid plate worth the coin or just go with A-arm protectors. This is my first side by side / atv so looking for suggestions.
So, looking to get some added protection for the new rzr. Was thinking skid plate or rock sliders and front bumper / bush guard. What is everyone using and any suggestions on what will work. Just looking to protect the plastic and undercarriage from rocks and stumps.
Yep, just have to get a set of 26 or 27's bighorns and there'll be nothing but smiles. happy with the way these worked just a little small, could use the extra clearance
Call Paul at Blue Skys Chrysler in Vegreville, they are starting a brand new Polaris Dealership and he has some stuff pre-ordered. Best Price I could find. Tell Him Brad said to give him a call,
Well, here's my new 2011 rzr family wagon. picked it up last night. Installed a viper 4000# winch, vent racing 4 seat cage conversion, crow 4 point harness and have a vent racing bimini top and side nets for the conversion to add as well. More mods to come. Lets call it a work in progress...
