Ive always said the foot print we leave as ATV'ers is so small its almost a joke they come after us.
but they do because were small fish that cant fight back.
Have you ever seen the foot print a logging company makes ? or a oilfield company its ridiculous half the time it looks like a bomb...
could be worse.. could happen 40k out in the bush.
carbs may not have the response of a EFI or the elevation forgiveness
but you can almost always get one working if it screws up.. atleast enough to get home.
did you take the rad right out of it?
you might be surprised if you do.
other than that.
you have thermostat that could maybe not be opening all the way.
when i took my head off for my motor work, i found mine Stuck wide open.
and if not that then its not circulating properly.
Those 750s are quite powerful stock.
when you put a higher flowing air filter and exhaust on them they can become quite un-corked though.
which is why the Fuel map needs to be changed to compensate for those changes.
its still a strait through hole.
your AFR should change any time you flow more air.
its a chambered pipe instead of a glass pack
part of the pipe near the front is open inside and the back end is chambered all that does is reflect sound into the chamber and deaden it.
cant see how it...
your not getting it.
EFI controller needs to be changed many people have burned out machines by changing Exhaust and not the Controller.
when messing with motors you have to make sure adjustment is taken into consideration.
thats how it works with anything.
you change one thing you must...
Maybe I'm blind but i see nothing about him saying he ran shell oil for one.
Also if he didn't this is a good reason to believe his damn wet clutch is destroyed.
I actually hope it is because that's a much easier fix like i said.
well that is probably your problem man.
you can run synthetics but it has to be wet clutch compatible stuff like amsoil.
lets hope you just pooched your wet clutch .. much easier to fix that then splines and splitting cases.
Some people will tell you that you dont.
but many people have cooked motors not switching chips on efi motors after doing Intake / Exhaust mods.
i guess it would depend on how much it uncorks your bike.
Yup. id love a argo for alot of times esp in hunting season when a moose dies out in the skeg.
But they break alot like you say and cost alot even used they are fairly expensive usually for anything half decent.
There as some horror stories about chain breaks in argos not being able to load...
tbh im not sure what people expect a mud quad to be.
its a ATV they made a hidden custom snorkel for.
lifted slightly
did some custom clutch work to it
beefed a few other things up as well.
put some tires on it and sold with full warranty.

the 800XMR looks to be a really good...
