    Required: Sense of humor

My son and I are both sitting here with tears in our eyes. My stomach is killing me. That's better than a bunch of crunchies. :d

    Seriously now...

I'm new to the 4WD scenario. Someone told me to use it only when needed otherwise, leave it in 2. I also had someone say that you shouldn't use it when going over 70KMHh. If you're going faster than that, the roads are probably good enough to be in 2. Keep in mind, I'm driving a used 95...

Just learned how to text: How did I do?

 It's a good thing no one was in the passenger seat. As for the median on QE2, can you imagine if that was one long cable :)

Lets See Some Shots of the Old Iron...

I don't have the pictures, but I saw the neatest thing today. Some guy was pulling 4 Yamaha sleds. I've already forgotten the name, but they looked to be 70's model. What made it interesting is that they were identical and seemed to be in great shape. Mine doesn't have the windshield anymore :(

Weather Alert Calgary Area Nov 15.10

Re: Weather Alert for Calgary Area Looking forward to the snow. Just checked. Nothing yet. I'm just dreading two types of people tomorrow. The white knucklers going 20km/h and the guys in the lifted 4WD trucks going 110km/h down the residential streets.

    my new gear cabinet

I like the idea but the display would never work at my place. 3 quadding helmets, 3 snowmobile helmets, gloves galore, two sets of waders, rain pants & rubber boots, rain jackets....well you get the idea.

    Helmet Laws

Always when I'm riding. A friend was horsing around with his girlfriend's little quad did a wheelie. It was so much lighter than his that it went completely vertical. I don't know how he didn't hit his head, but he was really lucky. I agree with you guys about no more laws. People have to...

    qaud chains

I have never gone winter quadding...yet...but I've had more than one person tell me that studs are better than chains. If you hit an icy hill you'll slide with chains, with studs you'll dig in. Any thoughts? D

    Waders

I've worn chest waders for about 3 years. Got 'em at Cdn Tire for about $80. I love the fact that the boot IS attached because you don't have to worry about getting water in the boots. Comes in handy for hooking up the winch. If you get water in them you know you've had a good day :d The posts...

I started reading the thread then just jumped to the last page. Any year? I have a 1998 Mountain Max 700 Triple. Great shape. Low mileage, comes with a few extras. D

    Helmets

Making another law isn't going to make a difference. People will just get angry. We have a seatbelt law and a lot of people still drive around without one until they see a cop car. I got on my soapbox on another site about helmets. One guy said that his daughter asked him why she had to wear...

    keeping the mud off.

Chest waders and a hockey jersey. The mud washes out of the jersey.

Good site to order parts from?

I've used arcticcatpartsnation.com. When you get there, you can select the manufacturer of choice Arctic Cat, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha, Ski-Doo....you name it. They do both ATV's and Snowmobiles. They have great schematics to help confirm you get all the parts you need.
