Are you sure I just read all require registation in B.C.

I take it all brands work together as a standard signal?

So where do you buy/rent them and where do you take the coarse? Lethbridge or fernie or any where in between?

I know nothing about the Avalance gear. What does it consit of and what does each peice of equipmnet do? Does every one on group need it or just certian peices? If there is a post for this can you point me in the right direction. I plan on sticking to the main trails for now. Don

where is best place to get the maps? You guys have refered to stores in the pass but what towns are they in? What stores in both pass and fernie? Going to spokane to get a couple of sleds and want to pick up some maps on way through. Don

I have seen a bit about it but mostly refering to hotels in the area that weekend. Were getting sleds this week but don't want to go out first time on over busy weekend. Don

A friend of minw was riding and said they were checked for registation 3 times in one day and were given a hassle for letting underage rides putt around way off the beaten path. Not sure where they ride but they stay in lumbrick with relatives.. Love the feed back guys. Don
