Had this sled parked for years now but have the itch to get it back on the snow. Anyone have pictures of the front cooler delete plate. Also does any one know if there’s more clearance with the delete plate than the modified coolers?
They actually kept same bore and stroked the motor to get there making it more square.
You are right that it’s almost identical bore and stroke to an doo 860R motor every one built in 2008 though
I think the repairs cost so much off warranty it’s cheaper to upgrade before it’s off.
It’s current, you don’t have to pull wrenches on it. Your making a mind set you’re going to pay xxx amount to have a new sled that you don’t have to work on.
There’s no potential large pocket book drop...
What don’t you like about them? They kind of have a Polaris gripper profile to them. They also seemed floppy on the spindle. The one I rode anyways.

Ya I googled the stroke and bore and had high hopes I could put a 900 bigbore in that chassis. Has some cool stuff going on chassis wise. But apparently the only thing that’s the same is the bottom case. Plus I would like a twin rail option. Kinda hoping the sidewinder
