I usually get a new belt and rotate the one i had on, onto the spare. Cleaning the clutches with an sos pad seemed to be a good idea when i did it, helped with the grip. Check plugs. I spent this pre season putting the sled back together after the trees jumped out in front of me last year.

Gotta sidewith Mr Dez on this point. I own a yamaha and i still run Arctic power valve oil. Ran it since ive got it and ive got about 3000 km saying its good oil. Plus smells good. Id like to bottle that 2 stroke smoke and sell it as "sledders musk"
One more vote for the m7 ... LOVE this sled nimble, quick, light its a great machine that will take you places you shouldnt be in. Also the 700 laydown motors are dam near bullit proof if you dont mod the hell out of them. I know of a few 7's with well over 6000kms on them and they havent...
