These things don't affect battery life. They take very little current to run. I have installed and service a few units a year, and through my experience and in my opinion I think the Espar brand is best. Webasto in a close second. The operation and design are very, very similar and even used...
best thing you can do. I've had one installed for 5 years now. make sure to buy the pre heater for the fuel pump, and install shut off valves on both coolant lines. the heater does have to come off periodically for cleaning. the shut off valves allow you to do this without loosing...
I've ran up to 12 psi on a non intercooled turbo setup without any issues. I just ran straight av gas. I run 8 psi on my new intercooled setup, with 50/50 mix. I can definitely notice the difference in kits though. The intercooled one runs much more crisp and the throttle response is better.

all depends on if it's supplying power or if it's supplying a ground. this is why I suggested doing a continuity test, rather then looking for power. in case you are not sure how the system works exactly
sure there is. it's just like any other switch, just check continuity through the switch while its unplugged. check with the rubber cap on and off. or you can test for power through the switch, with key on. just back prob the wires. don't poke the wires though, that will cause future...
I originally went with motorfist boots that had the dial, and cable setup. I cant remember the name of the boot. The metal clips that hold the wire broke on the first ride, slicing my new sled seat the shreds on the first ride out. They exchanged them for a more expensive pair of stomper 2...
I've been working in Fort McMurray for a long time, and have been trying to get my dirtbike fix while at work. I'm wondering if there's anyone here interested in having a ride night once a week. We can ride trails, cut lines, etc.... I've been cutting single track for a little while, so...
