Hey Guys, long time reader have not posted to much....just want to see everyone's fail vids from the past few years. We had a tonne more but these are we had some first time mountain riders this year was such a great time watching them mess up. Last part of video is epic...
I am with you on that one we were there a few days before you guys in that same spot, nothing would have came out of that avy. Sure hits home the dangers in the backcountry.
Kootenaycat I smell a slight hint of sarcasm, how many beers will it take to get the information out? I just have this half barrel of race fuel starring me in the eye whenever I go in the shop that says USE ME SCHWINDT, please PUT ME IN YOUR M8 and BURN ME UP :P Yeah its not mine my parents...
Yeah checked the Red Mountain report said 2450 today freezing level, then 1600 for the next couple days, however there is supposed to be some moisture on the way, should be snow at 1600 freezing point (thank you lord Jesus) :P Hear you on the cornices, we were out at Meadow before the cat skiing...
Hey Guys,
Looking to get 1 more ride in for the year, how is the current snow? As well where has the best snow right now? We have a house in Fruitvale so would have to be within a hour or two from there.
Thanks,
Schwindt
Thanks guys, glad to hear there is some fresh......I will not be crushing any avy terrain with the conditions the way they are......just head to the Norns for the first few days hang out there. See ya guys out there maybe!
hahah Nice Beattie was like Des is going to have a hard time keeping up with the boosted sleds, no word of a lie I was like don't worry about him bet you he will have one on his sled the next time we see em. Right on at least we have a few in the group now.
Beatter went out and bought a Aerocharger so just keeping pace, see how they run we are heading back out on the 4th if you can find some more time to slide out there D
Ok I have been searching google earth nightly for the past like 2 weeks trying to find the easiest way to hit up the Airy/Bullwinkle area through ladybird, so where you come to the open area near the end of ladybird do you climb between there and stay on the ridge, or head up from the ladybird...
Hey, just wondering if anyone has tried out the new crossover push kit yet, install tips. Looking to get into a kit but can't seem to find much information on them.
Nice thanks Shiz, hopefully see ya out there one of these days! 4 ft is lots we have 0 here sucks......So to get to ladybird do you have to go all the way from the club over the ridgeline/trail or is there a quicker way? Seemed all the good snow was in between the two mountains.
Hey Fellas, going to be back out there Dec 27th through to the 3rd. We hit the Norns decent last time what a treat that place is had a amazing time. Just wondering where we can get a membership to the snowmobile club or trail pass whatever there is? And wondering if anyone needs any help hauling...
