I would be as understanding as they are apologetic. like stated, they have insurance. the dodge dealer I go to rents trucks, so an equivelant truck for free while mine is fixed would keep me happy.
i'm hoping to mount a led bar between my tow hooks on a 2010 dodge 3/4 ton. any bright ideas? I was thinking of slipping a piece of steel behind the tow hooks from side to side and just mounting the brackets that come with the bar to that. its a hemi so no intercooler to block. I want the...
i have a 91 comanche with a 4.6l stroker in it. i'm only running 33x 12.5 tires but it kicks the shat out of the 4.0l in the tj and cherokee my buddies have. lots of torque, really notice it on the road in third gear when the quad is on the back or the sled trailer behind it. it was built by...
dammit guys, i was doing such a good job of forgetting about sledding ! not that i want to mind you. just wait till my wife hears me talk about a july trip, she'll ban me from the site! :0
so 3 should fit easily with room for gear in one like mine if you dont mind shifting the quads around.
of course there is the fenders inside to deal with. they are 72" long and stick out 7" and start 36" from the back.
its tight between the fenders but should work. maybe a 7 wide thats 21'...
my buddy just bought a front mount jd with a diesel motor. its a f735 series i believe. 60" deck and he cuts 4.5 acres of 6" tall grass with about a hundred small trees in around 3 hours vs. 5+ hours with a conventional 48".
what ever you do, be it full aluminum or steel, i would beef up the axles. i have owned and also operated several trailers ranging in size ect and it always seemed like the 3500# axles caused grief. i have 5200# axles under my MTI 16x 8.5 with 7.5 height and a ramp. interior dimensions are...
so i have a 26 foot fifth wheel and i would like to tow my comanche behind it. i know i should be within legal length, but i have two issues.
1.how should i tow the jeep? tow bar or a dolly for the front axle?
2.the trailer currently doesnt have a hitch. can i fab something up to the frame...
i did this in allen creek this year. wasnt a smart thing to do, and i scouted it first, ended up launching off the top of a hill. i was aiming to land about 30' to the left of where i did, i just hit it at the wrong angle. but hey, 75' of air into a lawn dart in the trees was a pretty big...
nothing crazy i dont think. just got some lower gearing and a vent kit on finally along with some powder pros. maybe i'll sneak a 3'' on this summer. i hate doing serious mods without being able to drive it right away. might just leave her be till next season.
i have the slp can on my 13 pc. i like it the best of all i heard, but i'm biased :)
i heard the mbrp decreases the backpressure alot.... but ya..... soooo..... any credible sources?
