I have a buddy that ran a 174 with a 162 tunnel all last winter and it worked and looked fine.

It's tight, But you should have no problem. I put mine in and have never had an issue.

Sounds like the power valve could use a cleaning. Also if you are using a synthetic mixing oil like BelRay MC1 or something similar you should try mixing 50:1. Of course it could be Dirty Air filter or the Air Filter was oiled to much and sucked some oil in to the carb. Clean you jets. Check...

Just to ad to Munchers list. CR Drop Bracketts And any other small stuff. And of course a Turbo. It eliminates the heavy air box and exhaust. So there you go. You have lots of options Good Luck. :beer:

CR Racing and RatSled both build huge Coolers. It can be done with a running board update if you don't want to do a full tunnel swap.

Well the good thing about that 270 kit you can turn the boost down and still have lots of fun. And then turn it back up if someone wants to drag race. :d

I run the 2.5" on my Turbo Yami. Started out with the 162 and now I am running the 174. We did a test with a couple of Nytro Turbos last year and we found that after a track speed of 45km/hr there wasn't really any difference. Good Luck on your choice. I'm sure you will be happy with...
