Thanks, I agree with you on this one. I don't want to go out and be a moron, I don't want to hurt anyone or myself or worse. I just want to go out with vets who know what to to know what not to do and really I just want to have fun.
Exactly, I can always sell if it's way too much sled. I have kids, and don't work in the patch I can't afford to upgrade every year or two to keep up with the new skills. And really I'd probally be happy cursing the foot hills lol. I really want to ride in valemount and blue river at least once...
That is what I'm looking for mentors to keep me in check and say"woah cowboy that is hill is way to big For you". I look forward to seeing you guys watch me dig out my sled, and I look forward to watching the mountain vets and seeing what I might be able to do in a few years time with experience...
Wow, everybody has a heated opinion, Yes I've ridden sleds before, always borrowed buddies arctic cats. No I've never been to the mountains before, yes I was planning of furthering my avalanche awareness to what I have learned from backwoods, and heli-skiing. Yes, I was going to re-buy all my...
I dont get it, if you know what you want, why dont you get it? I drive a 3/4 ton diesel truck that is modded, and its my first truck and by what your saying is I should have bought a stock rear wheel drive ford ranger. Or my first bike is a GIXXER 750 supersport, should I ride a vespa, or a...
Ok Ill probally do the mountains but only with an experienced group. I know its a pretty big sled but I fugured instead of buying a little one and upgrading over the years I have an opportunity to get this sled and I figure its good to learn on what I plan on owning down the road. A higer...
So, Im going to be getting a "new" sled a supercharged 06 Yamaha Nitro with a 161" track i believe. first of all what do you folks think of the sled? good bad? I dont think I will be hitting up the mountains this winter just because I dont want to die lol. What tips, and advise and gear should...
So, I was out riding my quad, with some sled buddies a few weeks ago, and was doing pretty good at holding my own when I noticed I was getting stuck... Long story short my front diff is pooched. The housing is all cracked open on one side. Does anyone have any leads on where to get a used one...
Im a big fan of the garage method myself. Also it keeps the snow off lol. But it would be a cool uh warm idea to plug the quad in when its in the box of my truck going for a long drive to go quadding...
I heard you had to get towed the whole time you guys went out last time lol. I also heard you got a new quad? Good job dude. lol Hey what did you do with your old beast?
Had a great time with Ryan at Bruderheim today. Snow was good trails were great. We basically had the whole place to our selves.:) Only issue was my Right front tire going flat and the bolts on my rear exhaust studs going missing part way through the day.
Its a nice unit, but like some one else said its value is going up the longer its on the market lol. I have an old 12 ft camper and an old 26 ft fifth wheel camper Im going to convert into a toy hauler with an open deck.
Is that the fully enclosed one? I like that one, but want to build mine with an open deck for the quads, to keep is as simple as possible.... Hmmmm the ideas are going through my head like a whirl wind...
