Also better priced than the SWS or Trailtech. I looked at them all before I decided to get the Rainbow. Also, Foster's was the only place that was willing to get me what I wanted. Everyone else I talked to said they can't get a small trailer with brakes, but they could add brakes after the...
I ordered mine through Fosters Covered Wagons in Devon AB. Manufactured in Canada by Rainbow. Ordered it with 3500lb torflex axle with brakes. Without the brakes GVW is restricted to under 3000 pounds. I have had it now for about 6 months and am very satisfied with the quality of the...
If it is still there. there is a KOA at the North end of the strip. We have stayed there a couple of time.
Just checked on Google Maps. It looks like it is still there, behind the Circus Circus on the North end of the strip.
Thanks for the responses. i was able to get bearings locally from Rapid Revolutions, and saved more than enough dough to buy the socket. Now that I have done mine, future ones should be way easier.
I need to change my rear trailing arm bearings on my '06 Outlander. Dealer wants $120 a side. Is there any jobber bearings available that anyone knows about? Also does anyone within a reasonable distance from Stony Plain have the socket required to do the job?
Thanks in advance.
Another vote for The Comp Shop in Stony Plain. I have had work done there on 2 occasions, and have been completely satisfied with the quality of the work they perform.
Just a quick update. My wife took it in, they changed the speed sensor. I picked it up and went camping for my 2 weeks holidays and the quad performed flawlessly the whole time. I kept the old sensor and will try cleaning it and reusing it ( As suggested by DaveB ) when i have more time.
The quad is at the dealer right now. We think that's what it is but will know for sure in a couple of days. All I know is that as soon as we unplugged the sensor it worked fine and did not blow any fuses.
Well we unplugged the vehicle speed sensor, put in a new fuse and it fired right up. has been working for 3 days now. Since I am out of town working my wife is taking it ti the dealer for permanent repair.
Thanks again DaveB for the advice.
I have a 2006 Outlander 800 that is blowing the 7.5amp fuse labeled ( F4 - "Accessories" in the shop manual ) - (F4 - "Speedometer/Speed sensor/Tail lamp" in the owners manual) every time I try to start it. Has anyone seen this before, and what was the solution? I only have 2 weeks vacation this...

I just ordered a Z-Start Pro for Skylars 250. I spoke with Kevin at Mongoose Machine (The Western Canadian Distributor) ended up buying the Z-Start instead of the Core EXP since it has smoother engagement, less maintenance, and you don't remove any friction discs to install it. The EXP...
Hey Darcy, Check out Thumpertalk.com. Lots of reviews and info on that site. I have been looking into getting one for Skylar's 250. The newest version is fully automatic with full manual override if desired in certain conditions.
Do you give tire quotes on here, or should I come in to the shop? I need 6 tires for my Dually, stock size is 215/85R16. Do you know if I could run 235/85R16 on my truck? Truck is an '06 Silverado 3500 C/C Dually. I am pretty sure I want the Wrangler Silent Armor.
Hey Darcy,
Where are you at these days? How has your winter been? Are you getting things ready for rental season yet, or is that already done? When are you planning to go to Rocky to set things up?

As the owner of a Traxxas Revo ( nitro truck ) here is my opinion. If you really like to tinker alot get nitro. If you just want to have fun spend more up front and get an HPI Baja that runs on premixed gasoline just like your chainsaw. Nitro can be VERY frustrating.
I put a BBR exhaust on my daughters 08 150F. It sounds really nice, and makes lots more power. We got our son an 09 150F with a stock pipe on it. The difference between the two is pretty amazing. I never would have thought a pipe could make that much difference. The BBR exhaust makes a huge...
