I've been replacing stock ones I break with rhinos. Cheaper than gorillas and plenty strong. Call kevin and his staff at rapid and get some prices and opinions from them.
I heard those cobras are refurbished car axles. But I heard it on S&M so who knows...
Thanks tex. I've been waiting for the gf to get her schedule confirmed before I dedicated my weekend to this trip. I'll be calling tomorrow to book us in at the nordegg hotel and will meet everyone at the rocky petro at 8am on june 1. Cant wait!
The problems I found were that they didnt even stay in the snow when they were down and when I put them up they would just fall off all the time. Its like they were too stiff. And they scratched up my pretty gold rails!
I remember when you posted the first pics of the krazy stupid chute with you and dan adams. Its one of the nastiest looking chutes ive seen and have been waiting to hear that it has been conquered. Hope you got some good helmet cam footage of it.
Congrats on another great year of ascents and...

After watching a few similar vids to this and hearing horror stories and seeing a couple runaways I always wear my tether. Even trail riding or ditch banging. You just never know
In a few years when im looking at getting a sxs I like the commander and the new john deere. I'd be looking for something more utility oriented and both seem like good choices.
Good choice on the viper. If only the manufacturers would put in a good quality cheaper winch like the vipers and save us the cost and trouble of replacing the shitty warns after they crap out in a year or two.
Hope you're gonna be joining us and snapping some pics at the chris brown clinic next year. Me and april and keith wild and my riding buddy will all be going
