Welcome to the site! I'd recommend just finding a field to play around with your sled to get used to it. I wouldn't recommend b-lining it straight to the mountains because you can easily get in over your head, in a hurry.
Put a little gas in the cylinders, see if that will get it started.
Make sure your fuel cutoff switch, is open so you're getting fuel.
Take the airbox off (one strap) and you'll see the carb openings, make sure there is no gunk, you can spray some carb cleaner in there to clean everything out...
Bad Gas? Electrical short or bummed out fuel injectors?Should be under warranty, take it back and get your money back or trade it for another machine. It's a lemon
I've always used the husky blend of fuel in my 2 polaris. I notice that they sold 90 octane fuel for the price of 87 and got suckered into thinking that was better than going to shell and buying 91 octane for 20 cents more a litre. I've never had any problems with my sleds running (Other than...
We have 2 - 3/4 ton Diesels, and a f550 coming in on order. The two three quarter tons are averaging around 85 litres burned to drive 600 km (G.P. up to FSJ, then back with some intown driving) which is right around 16mpg
Who does one talk to about buying an Alberta trail pass? I've used Big Mountain, and just left a cheque on my window, no one grabbed it so I guess it was a courtesy day for me.
100LL assuming you have access to aviation fuel is why you are wondering. I'd only be a bit cautious because of the lead. You'll definitely want to shut the sled off if you get stuck, and you really don't want to be inhaling any exhaust fumes. Last time I checked it was around a 1.76 a litre...
The tone is like a PIN for your debit card, its an added security to the frequency.
I'd get a Kenwood Nx700 radio, it's basically a copy and paste to load up the 4 or 5 zone banks (Think of a group of channels used in the same area). Motorola's are a pain in the arse because they have to...
I'd be game for the next one, unfortunately I was also up in Fort St. John every day this week till past 10pm before I rolled into Gp. Wednesday or Thursday evening (Or the weekends if it's poor weather to sled) work for me.
Too bad I missed this one, but get a date together and I'll be game...
Thank Teeroy, I pulled the carbs apart and they're sparkling clean, no build up anywhere. So as I'm bs'ing with a guy from work here at the shop, he and I were thinking well it must still not be getting fuel. So he asked me where the main fuel line is, so I grabbed it and showed him that if I...
