Did the exact same thing last year, all looked fine initially, one ski back 3-4". But it only takes fractions of an inch diff at the mounting point to move the spindle a lot. New s mod is only bout $380, with the cast section. When reassembling use 1/4" bolts rather than rivets as well
My youngest had 600 zx for the first year when he was 11, got a rev 800 summit for the next year, and has been riding a 146" 800 summit xp the last 2 years, rode all sleds in the hills. He is a damn good rider now. My oldest wasnt the same, got a 800 rev when he was 13 and still hasnt mastered...
