Do any of the operations here offer heli-sledding? I seen some show with people going out heli-sledding in Alaska on tv last year. Some pretty insane terrain there. One area the flats were so big you could tape your throttle wide open and you would run out of gas before you ever got near the end.

Sorry, I meant personal licenses like the one I have for boating (which is a joke). My sled is registered, insured, and I have my courses.

I cringe whenever I hear sledding or quadding on the news. It seems like it's coming down to licensing and required safety courses for both. I hope that doesn't happen, but all it takes is one sympathetic government either way. With the prices of these sleds I think they should friggin come with...

It was on the CTV Calgary news @ 6pm... How much do the avy courses cost? I want to take one, but was thinking maybe more would take it if there was some kind of cost included with mountain sleds and you get a rebate if you register? People won't do anything like that it seems unless it is...
