Had the same problem in my '03 durango. The service manager tells me it's common in this generation of truck.
My '76 Dodge aspen had a similar problem with a ceramic resistor in the ignition...if it got wet... or the sun went behind a cloud, I was replacing it
Seems to me ceramic...
Forgive me for this, but how is using used cooking oil that would end up in a landfill be a rediculous concept?
Yes, using corn to make fuel is silly as the energy cost to make it is more than what can be producted... but using the used fryer oil from restaurants is ultimate recycling. Not...
Gee, I'll have to disagree... in part:cool:
The 5.9 cummins is very strong, but GM and Ford haven't had issues with 100% of their diesels in the last 10 years. The Ford 7.3L is bomb proof. It's simple and has lots of room for additional power (the tranny on the other hand can't handle the...
Commercial vehicles are registered as such and have gone through the weighing process to confirm such things as GVRW. Even if the commercial vehicle is being used for personal use at that time, you are required to stop at the scales, or so I was told by Jonny Law. It seems, if you don't stop...
I agree with the straw - cheap and easy to change.
I'd also suggest foil backed insulation to reflect the pooches body heat back into the house, and some poly vapor barier. This should reduce need for a heat lamp... besides how is your dog supposed to sleep with the light on?
Since when is making a point with a loaded weapon ok? This isn't a controversial act my friend...it's making a direct threat to end someone's life. Not sure about you, but when learning to hunt, I was taught to only point a loaded weapon at something I intend to kill.
Next time an angry crack...
I agree;
Cut your losses. Pay only what you owe and fire him.
Find another contractor and set out everything in writing for costs/work to be done/expectations/timelines etc. If they don't have a contract of their own or won't sign yours... walk away.
H1N1 seems more contageous and aggresive than the previous flus and it is affecting a population normally found to be resistant to previous flus.
Currently, the 20-45 yr olds seem to be most affected by this bug. Typically, the old and very young are most seriously affected by the flu. Out of...
I'd talk to your daughter, but also set up a meeting with both the Principal and the school resource officer (a cop) as an assault did take place. I'd ask the principal to outline how they intend to deal with the situation and a timeline for this to take place. The RO does need to be aware of...
If you have a letter confirming this, there should be no questions asked. If a company won't honor what they've put in writing they aren't worth dealing with...Nothing like a call to the BBB or the consumer watchdog guys on CTV to stir it up!
It sounds like the speed sensor. The variable speed sensor (VSS) can be found on top of the rear diff housing.
Try cleaning it, but they're not too expensive.
The Ford 6.0 powerstroke is underpowered with injector pump problems. The 99-05 v10 pushes spark plugs out of the head to a repair cost near $7grand.
If you're looking at Ford 3/4 or 1ton, the 7.3l is strong (1 get about 15mpg with 325,000km on the motor and 200,000km on the current...
The Ford v-10 (1999-2004) has a common (and nasty) problem of popping the spark plugs out of the heads and it takes out the coil pack.
if this happens you're likely going to replace the heads for about $7 grand or you can heli coil it and hope it doesn't pop again.
It seems there aren't...
I too have had good experiences in emergency (both RVH and FHH). The care is always tops.
Yes, wait times are not so fun, but if you're situation is serious, you'll be seen quickly. If it takes a while, sure you may not be comfortable, but there's no threat of life or limb.
