seriously thinking of going tomorrow
but its a 45 min drive to snow and its still very limited, maybe 10" or so
and it was warmer today
patience grasshopper!! LOL!
I have a basically new TOBE jacket from last year
I wore it once, still smells new
I am 6'2" 190 lbs and the jacket is a Large
Fits great w a base layer, KLIM inferno fleece and a moto-x chest protector
Im selling mine cheap, PM me if your interested and ill send you pics
also have it listed...
wow thats an incredible story ... in that situation, id say ur pretty much a hero
a newborn too? man oh man, that poor lady ....
im gonna be honest and will probably get flamed for it, but im not 100% sure i would have stopped
i guess id have to be in the situation at that exact time, and see...
I added a couple other small mods over the past couple days
I painted the windshield satin black (the underside of it)
taped it off, sprayed it with KRYLON FUSION spray paint and it really turned out awesome
looks SOO much better and was a $6 mod
also added MOFLO vents in the lower door panels...
love the guy that says "ppfffttt, 4 wheel drive is for pu$$ies! I never put mine in once all winter ... do';t have to if you know how to drive!"
as he climbs in his $70k Harley Davidson 4 X 4 truck and spins his wheels driving away!! LOL!
oookkkaaayyyyy buddy!!
great thread
kinda was in the same boat as you OP
wanted something that would work for both areas of riding
I too make a few trips west each year and FOR ME - the Freeride 146 was the ticket
will work fine here, and has a long enough track and big anough lug to haul me around out west
and shes all beefed up...
ya i had a checked black/black X 146, but cancelled it
I wanted doo to have a year or two on the tmotion before i tried it out (first yr sleds arent doo's forte .... sometimes .. EX: 2004. 2008)
also im not sure the t motion would be good for me where I ride
I get west a couple times a year, but...
maybe it was an early spring thing they tested it?
not sure...truthfully i like the old strap thats on there over the new one
the new one is hard.... Hard mountain strap = broken face IMO
and yes the online pics do this sled no justice
even my pics dont... The green and orange r awesome in person
got er home last week
couple easy mods: HPS can, SLP Powder Pro Skis, Summitseeker Scratchers, OEM extreme skid plate
was thinking of a wrap, but Im not so sure now ....
few pics for fun, enjoy!
Frick Fernie thats hilarious!
i was literally about to say the exact same thing! Hahahah!
Beat me to it unold bastard! LOLOLOLOL! ;)
We used to take the brakes off and the spring out of the steering wheel on the GT's
so we could hit sweet jumps and do handlebar spins! Hahah!
and then hook it...
ya stoked
spent a little bit in the garage last night tinkering
typical new sled stuff: cleaning goo off clutches and belt, setting bars and controls to my liking, checking all the handlebar bolts, warning sticker/foam removal, can install, clutch bolt torque-ness etc etc etc
what u think of...
