Go to darson insurance. they are a site sponser. I had full coverage on my quad last year and it was no more than 380bux. His user name is stumpy on this site. call him.
well like every winter in edmonton, I find myself bored stupid so I either buy basket cases and fix them or do ground ups on friends machines. I offered to build a bike for a friend of mine this winter so I thought I would start a build thread to share. The bike is a 2006 Kawasaki KX 250. Full...
just a quick pic of mine. Still have big bars, exhaust, and sunline levers to go on. Oh... this snow needs to quit, I'm thinking of loading up and heading west...as far west as I have to go to hit the trails. Damn addictions, hmmm... Never mind, The picture file is to stupid to work:(
Same with mine. I think the guy rode it for maybe an hour, crashed it once and put it away lol. The previous owner was around 55 years young. It just has a few scratches on the rad shroud but the rest of the bike is mint. I have all the aluminum all polished now too. Also waiting on the new...
I have a nephew that is still growing.... my god it is expensive! I bought him his first bike(cr80) and all the gear and every year he needs something new due to growth. Well this year everything I buy for him will be a size larger...Minus the helmet. As far as bikes, there isn't many options...
Well, I ended up buying a thumper. I must have been high when I made the deal lol. I just thought I would give it a try since I've always been on a 2 stroke. So now the itch is even worse, Go away snow lol. Here is a pic of what I bought.
do you have much experience on dirt bikes? The 500's I find are too heavy, and have too much power for average riders. Don't get me wrong, they are fun, but they have their place.
All depends on the riding your going to do. I trail ride 2 strokes fairly easy but the do require a bit of a gearing change for tight trails. That been said, you can't beat the torque of a thumper. I like to ride open tracks, sand, and hill climbs myself, so the 2 stroke 250 is my choice...
I have the itch so bad that I'm buying a bike here this week. It's been over 4 years since I gave up riding and since my 8th concussion. Screw what the doctor says, you only live once. Kinda hard giving it up when you have been riding since you were 5. Hope to see some of you guys out there...
Eric Gorr at forward motion. Had a cr 250 with his 295cc big bore ported for mid-top. Good service and a great product. I'm buying a bike again and will be sending the top end to him again. I think he offers a 520cc big bore with porting for your motor.
I don't think it is. Most people are going to mod it to make it their own anyway. Decal kit, after market suspension, windshield, etc.... The only thing I would want from the "X", is the gauges.
I bought an everest because I have a bad problem with modding things. I'm not sure what the...
