    Av Gas $$$

That sounds bogus man. I'm a pilot and if I landed in Lloyd and wanted to fuel up I'd never pay by the Jerry can. The guy should charge you by the liter. By the Jerry is BS planes don't carry gas cans they just fill up their tanks.

I've seen how Boost-it does it on his Polaris' and I don't think he's added 20 pounds. It's a plastic inline 12Volt pump, silicone heater hose and a tiny tunnel cooler. Plus the intercooler itself is way smaller because it doesn't have to be so big to dissipate the heat. The ice cold coolant...

You're right Ron engine coolant WTA's don't work as good on sleds. The independent closed loop systems don't add a bunch of weight though. They usually consist of a very small tunnel heat exchanger, (similar to the one stock on a Nytro), a small lightweight electric inline pump, hoses to the...

You got a M8 WTA from TSS? Is it for the old kit or the new instaboost kit? Mines the old style. I talked to Brandon at the beginning of summer and they didn't have one they wanted to release yet.

Where are you guys getting your M8 WTA's built? I'd like to try one on mine. Last I talked to TSS they didn't have one yet for my kit.

    True ??

Light weight cranks work awesome! If you do it right! Speedwerx started doing it to cats 700 lay down engines back in 04/05 for the 800 open mod sno-cross sleds. It worked so good for so many years that cat decided in 10 it would have the new 10HO come stock with the lightweight mod. So as long...

Wonder though does it add lag time? The intercooler itself would have more restriction then just an open charge tube. But I also know, do a few hard back to back pulls with no intercooler and I can feel the difference in power. Id really like to keep the fast response too. I want it all! Lol Us...

    Turbo Elevation Question

Call TSS (top secret shop) they build turbo kits for M8's using Neil's Boost-it system. I'm sure they wouldn't have a problem selling you a boost-it system. Brandon Miku is the Arctic Cat contact at TSS. They could give you baseline settings in the box then you just have to tune it once the snow...

    Turbo Elevation Question

Oh one more thing... The attitude box does not compensate for altitude. You most likely might have do some tuning on the hill. Whatever "tune" you make will only run that good at that altitude and temp that you made it at. Turbo sleds aren't as finicky as carbed sleds to altitude change, but...

    Turbo Elevation Question

You are correct on the ambient pressure, except that temp also affects the pressure reading as well as what type weather system (high pressure, low pressure) is passing through the area at that given time. Anyway our boost gauge we use on our sleds and tire gauges we use to measure tire pressure...

Rider reviews of Arctic Cat Wildcat Trail 700?

Yea a welder friend of mine fabbed them up. Makes a huge difference! I couldn't go more then 10mph without being soaked before. It was a lot of work to fab though, lots of bends. I'd just go buy the AJ's side by side accessories ones if I did t again. Same basic profile and bolt right on. Search...

Rider reviews of Arctic Cat Wildcat Trail 700?

Thanks man! No races yet, only thing I see at work is bears and miles and miles of skeg lol. Only time it's been out of low range is touring around with the fiancé at home around the lake. Joys of it being a work machine I guess.

Rider reviews of Arctic Cat Wildcat Trail 700?

Yea seen the turbo set-up not looking to go that route. It will be mostly used for work so reliability is a big must.

Rider reviews of Arctic Cat Wildcat Trail 700?

Anyone have a wildcat Trail 700 out there? Looking at purchasing one and would like some real world no bs or brand bashing reviews. Looks like there are basically no aftermarket accessories for it yet other then from Cat. How are they holding up? Problems or issues? Comfort after a full day...

Polaris Industries: Refusal to Issue Warranty Letter for Border Crossing

Re: Polaris Industries: Refusal to Issue Recall Clearance Letter for Border Crossing Any Polaris dealer can print it off for you. Just needs the dealers letter head and info on the sheet, the dealers signature and the sleds VIN. Then the sheet just has to state that there is no outstanding...

    Fuel consumption

At New Years in deep snow in Mcbride (Renshaw) our group had a pretty could fuel mileage test day. We all rode hard. My sled, 12 TSS turbo M8 10psi boost, 12 Doo 800 with Boondocker turbo 12psi, 13 XM stock and 14 XM stock. At the end of the day all sleds were within 2 liters of fuel burnt. 😁👍...
