    Defender XMR VS Ranger Highlifter

Ok consensus seems to be the defender. Has anyone tried the super-atv doors and roof? Or what about a cab heater?

    Trailer Ramp Traction

I have a deck over enclosed. So the ramp angle sucks. I have superglides only on the ramps. 2x2 runners for track traction. Works quit well. I did have one of the runners rip off. That was from a 174 that didn't enter without any momentum. And due to the ramp angle was only touching on...

    Jetwear

I stay dry all day. Keeps the wind well too. but the fabric itself gets cold on the trail. I think that’s due to non insulated. That’s where I’m upgrading, my mid layer. Before this onesie I had thick jacket and bibs.

What did you do for your ATV today?

This week I was preparing for the brazeau rally. Poor wildcat was in need of tlc. This summer was super dray and dusty. And the thing was shook apart. Lost the bolt holes for the rear cargo box. So removed the box drilled and tapped them bigger. Fresh diff oil and transaxle oil. Fresh oils...

120v cord in. Then 12V out to batteries. Instantly supplies 14-15V depending on battery charging needs. I haven't tried without a battery.

    Powering enclosed trailer propane furnace

I have the PM4-60 amp and its overkill for my trailer. The 35A or 45A would be perfect I think. I got the 60A for the same price as the 45A so figured why not. I will be adding the RV plug onto the outside. Currently running the cord thru the corner of the door but that is getting old fast!

Semi-Permanent Off Grid RV solar charging

Have you had any worries about leaks in your roof? We still want to camp in a couple other places once or twice a year. If we change trailers how hard is it to remove and patch the holes?

Semi-Permanent Off Grid RV solar charging

The river is right there for sure. We have about 2500ft of river front. We have thought about a water generator. There are a couple issues I think. The water level changes dramatically. About 6" per week lowers down this summer. After a hard rainfall can go up 1' in 2 days. Other...

Semi-Permanent Off Grid RV solar charging

Perfect responses guys!! The main idea is to recharge the system while we are away. But at this rate the family wants to be out there more and more. So if I plan and prepare now, everything will be much easier to setup. I've also heard really good experiences so with Renogy brand MPPT...

Semi-Permanent Off Grid RV solar charging

Back story- Our family has 10 acres along the pembina river. Remote access, no chance for any services for the foreseeable future. Over the years we have made ourselves some campsites and this year I got a large trailer that we have kept there most of this summer. I have currently have 2 6V...
