There's a great thread on this in Snow West forum under Polaris. You will need a primary clutch with a ring gear. Everything else should plug in and bolt on.
I've been in the patch for almost 30 yrs. Seen it go up and down a few times. We all sit and whine about it but no one has a solution. Heres mine:
Set a floor price on oil of $75 bbl. If a company wants to import the cheap saudi stuff they pay a tax to the government like a tarriff. If the...
Not sure if anyone else has had this issue but I thought I would post this. On the 2015 snow check Pro sleds with the piggy back shocks you cannot get the normal grease gun end on the right side zerk for the front shock. The reservoir is in the way. I had a right angle adapter that I used to get...
Ran a BRP cap for the last 3 day on a 15 Pro. Buddy has a 2013 pro. We ran almost the same mileage each day. Both used about the same amount of oil. He ran the stock Poo cap. Who knows if it makes a difference. Good thing it was under 20 bucks!
Just got back from 3 days. Rode Boulder and Frisby the first 2 then yesterday at Area51 . Until the 2 main areas get some serious snow you are waisting your time there. Go anywhere other than the main areas and you may find some scraps of untouched left. Area 51 was awesome still lots to go. You...
Curious as to where u would mount it in a sled. Would you just tuck it in the tool pouch or make some kind of bracket and really hide it under the hood somewhere? Looked at these at London drugs and just about pulled the trigger yesterday but would like to know if someone has tried it out in the...
Been there done that too so now its a tek vest under my Klim jacket. Keeps you warm on the colder days but sometimes too warm when its only -5 or so. A handle bar in the ribs once is all it took for me to be convinced!
I'd be curious to know as well I just cant bring my card out for 65 bones especially add the exchange its like 75. Yea I know I'm a cheap skate and aint about to change at this stage in life!
Yup so true........last year on the very same day I whacked my new house garage door with roll bar on tractor moving a freezer. Had enough of that then proceeded to whack shop door with mini excavator while backing out. That was a bad day!
Get a trade like electrical, instrumentation or millwright then go work for a pipeline company. Not the dudes that build pipelines but the ones who operate them, like Enbridge, Pembina etc. Good money, company truck and not usually affected by the low oil prices or boom bust cycles like the...
When I lived in AB I rode with the plate tucked up behind the left foot well. Was never asked to see the plate in 20+ years of mountain riding. On my Pro its going in the under seat bag as the manufacturer didn't provide an engineered place for it. LOL
I bought some KILM boots this year and looking for some socks to keep the feet dry. Probably more so from sweating than moisture getting in. Any one have any suggestions on a great sock that wicks the moisture and is not too thick? I think cotton is probably the worst but not sure about wool or...
You best build up you forearm muscle cause unless you have it higher than sled gas tank its a pain to pump it if is doesn't siphon. I have one for diesel fuel and they don't like the cold weather either. The handle will puke fuel when its cold
Ok so you just picked up a new 2015 sled, be it a doo, poo, cat or yammi.
Now what? Even though the dealer did a PDI on it what would you check for before that first ride? Not talking adding a bunch of mods but would you check certain fasteners to see they were torqued, hose clamps, wiring...
I have been rebuilding my deck and noticed on my STF they have thin pieces of UHMW (plastic) on all 4 sides of each slide tube. No need to lube it slides like grease.
