I have the Speed Shop Inc titanium can on. Very happy with the quality, best of the many brands I've owned through the years. It only weighs 2.8 pounds. The price is steep to get it in Canada. $400 usd means $685 cdn once you add in exchange, shipping and customs.
I was thinking of putting mine there but my OCD kept me thinking about trying to centre it on the crease.
Too chicken, haven't mounted it yet!!
Actually broke the knee panel that has the switches in it. Plastic seems a bit brittle, wasn't even cold or a hard hit with my knee!?!? So I guess I...

Went with the 163, 2.6. Kinda wonder about going back to unpainted tunnel but just liked the way it looked.
I didnt really notice any difference from my painted tunnel xm to friends unpainted, so I guess we will see.
Just saw the sleds at the sneak peak in Saskatoon.
Polaris has a nice bag available that mounts above the dash compartment. It looks like the door is removed so it is a nice option. It considerably enlarges the compartment and replaces the plastic door, which doesn't latch very well, with a...
It is a jobber motocross switch I got from Recreation Supply in Saskatoon. It looks like it must be an Emgo as per the link below. It doesn't matter ktm, yamaha etc because you cut the ends off to splice in. I soldered and heat shrinked it halfway between the switch and the brp plug and then...
I always use my electric start but the pull start has saved me when the starter switch went out at the beginning of a trip. It is easy to install yourself. It fits behind the stock side panel, no need to trim and so is just waiting as a backup.
I also have the mbrp trail can and it is nice...
That is what I thought as well, but you can also initiate an SOS by pressing the checkmark while the SOS icon is highlighted on the screen. You only have 5 seconds to cancel it.
It takes a series of 3 buttons to power up the unit and also then 3 button pushes to initiate the SOS. Unlikely...
Yeah I have had real good luck with Ffun on my sled and BMW street bike.
They can usually get me in for service right away and things get done right.
i don't mind paying for good service and they seem to appreciate that. I appreciate a well managed business which they appear to be.
Re: Recoil install.... Handle "cup" super hard to install..... Anyone else find this?
I installed the recoil start on my estart just as a backup. I also found the cup very hard to seat in oil tank. I put a bit of oil on the cup tab, and slightly warmed the lip of the tank with a mini torch...
Advantage of the 655t is it transmits at 5watts, (v 2 watts for the 650), has a camera, us topo maps, and has more built in memory.
Main advantage of the 655 is double the range (rated 20 miles v 8 miles for the 650) but it isn't licensed for Canada.
I tried mine on 3 but wondered if that is why I am still feeling the bars jerk as i cross sled tracks while in deep powder. It seems to do this more than any of the other sleds I ride, just like the XP did. I went back to 2 (stabilizer is out) but the weather went bad and didn't really get to...
Lol, just a quick picture to show off the stickers that came on the bottom of the skis!!!
Found a hole at Boulder on the weekend. No damage, huge fun. This sled is like riding a bike.
