I'm looking for some Snowbike buddies 2.
Going to finish putting together mine tomorrow.
Then headed to the Crowsnest and hope to find some snow to break it in.
Just have to figure a way to tie it down in my enclosed trailer.
I'm coming down there this week. Got a house rented in Blairmore.
Any idea if there is any snow, that a guy can get to?
should be down Wensday night thinking.
Crowsnest is good if they got snow.
Wouldent mind finding good family riding in Fairmont too. Just getting the wife and kids into it too this winter.
Think ive heard Toby Creek across from Panorama ski hill might be good for the Family.
We staged at the bottom of Frizby. Was not bad going up, but coming down was a bit nasty.
Trailers were making it up the hill to the next staging area, no prob. Prob. the best bet tomorrow.
Made it to Revy. Weather is not that bad.
Lots of of carnage though. Icy on the east side of Rodgers, by Quarts with trucks spun out, and trafic jams. But once you start up the hill it's bare.
If if your pulling a trailer might be dicey.
Road is closed just west of Field, for a bad accident. Been here 2 hours already. For anyone heading to Revy.
Would like like to get over the Rodgers before dark.
Good luck with your JK pulling it. lol
I pulled my 2 Place sled trailer home empty last year. I was looking at the sky, and was a very slow trip. Can't imagine loaded and in a the winter.
Those Jeeps have a hard time pulling themselves around, they are gutless, especially after a lift kit and...
Looks like it was a great day for riding.
Kook is a great place to ride in the early spring and Fall, when there is snow at home.
Think some guys ride all winter out there with Trellies, but never tried it.
Fallen Timber, West of Water Valley on the Forestry Trunk Road, is my fav. Endless single track for all levels of riders.
Wish I was off, sounds like fun. Let me know if you want more details?
Right on, now I don't feel so bad buying my 12 year old a mountain sled. Will be looking for good places to take him this winter. Tried the Crow last winter, because I heard it was Family friendly. Only prob. last year. No Snow! Went skiing instead at Fernie.
We are staying at the Rosalin inn. Never been there before, but just a little north.
Got a Queen room for 90. Told them could get it for that online.
