I have actually twice flipped a sled over backwards onto myself. Both were Cats, an 800 on 153 track, and 1000 on 162 track.
Like you said, it isn't just a doo thing, it happens to ALL brands.
Many of the people here wear glasses with yellow lenses, so all they can see is yellow.
If you don't brag up doo and put down all other brands, the boys here get all pissed off at you.
Try calling the village office and local hotels to, they may know someone, its a small town. I've found the village office to be very helpful when we were going to move there.
We just got home from 6 great days of riding. Originally we were going to head to revy, but the snow has been so good further north, that instead we rode a day in Blue river, a day in Valemount, and 4 days in McBride. All were great, but McBride was whatever better than great is!
We rode...
The last three broken sleds I have seen towed out, were an equal number of Cat, doo, and poo...1 each. They can all have issues, it is not just any brand that has all the problems and the rest are perfect.
We have been riding for the past 6 days, just got home, and the more I ride the 850 the more I like it.
Still seriously considering a turbo for them both too.
I tend to pack a nice lunch, thermos of hot chocolate, ride up to a high spot, with a great view, and sit there enjoying a long lunch alone. Guess I'm just a loner at heart.
Wasn't meant as a Ford bash, my company pickups are ford F350 pickups. They just don't seem special enough to cost 100k is all. Now if they had fold out wings and flew to, then hell ya.
But it's just a pickup.
And glad he got 340k kms on the original front end, I seem to be doing front end work...
Since day one I have said just run them down. If someone is stupid enough to stand in the way of a truck or train, running them over is doing the world a favor, ridding the planet of the loser!
I have driven millions and millions of kms in semi trucks in my life time...stand in front of my...
$100k for just a pickup is ludicrous no matter what brand. Added taxes, documentation fees etc it skyrockets even more.
I don't understand why they cost so much, they are really nothing special, and made of the cheapest parts, by the lowest bidder, not good quality. Read about F350s with worn...
On the bottomless powder days I still want my 163 by 3, but the other days, which there are plenty of, the 155 by 3 is such a great track. Ideally I would have a 155 and 174, but don't, so my 163 works for me as a compromise. But I don't think you can go wrong with that 155 by 3. For me I do...
I'm looking forward to retirement.
Been grooming my youngest daughter for years to take over for me. Hopefully by age 55 all I do is relax and never work another day in my life.
Sometimes it sure is peaceful riding alone.
As someone who has ridden alone a hundred times on a sled, and probably 8 times as many as that on a dirt bike, I treasure the memories of those nice rides alone. If God thinks my time is up here on earth, so be it. I've made my peace with dying...
