I ride a trail sled and am looking for people to ride with in the area. I live in NW Calgary and am thinking of anything with-in 1-2 hours of town in any direction....
I am not looking to head to the mountains or anything. Trails, ditches, fields... We can still have lots of fun. I...

34 KM's WEST of Caroline on the #54 highway is the staging area. It is highway for 30KM's and them it becomes a gravel road for the last 4. There is a HUGE sign on the left hand side saying Caroline Snowmobile Club Staging Area. You can't miss it.
I appreciate that, but I already have a site like this.....
However with no lat - long to put in there is does me no good. The purpose of this thread to to get locations from people.
I travel around Alberta allot for work and I am going to start pulling my sled trailer around with me. I have a Garmin GPS in my truck with the Oil Trax software on it, so it takes LSD's. I was wondering if anyone knows and would share various staging area's (by LSD) OR a google map picture so I...
Yes Tex78 it is in Chambers and no they are not in good shape at all and the signs that are up are misleading.....
Beaker, yeah I remember you... :) Good to hear form you.
Not groomed no. When we were there on Wednesday we stopped in and asked at the tourist station. RMH is none funded and no grants (for trails) they are 100% volunteer and he is alone right now. They do not groom but they do go out and move debris and clean up the area and such...
Rode the Caroline trails today for about 60KM's. They are more than half groomed, they need a better base as the "whoop dee do's" are pretty bad all along the trails but we had a GREAT time and look forward to going out there again very soon.
I was up there yesterday and the ditches were packed and good. However the trails are not yet groomed, at all. They were in bad shape and lots of debris needs to be cleared away.
Looking to ride in the RMH area tomorrow. (Nov 26). Can anyone tell me if there is any snow or area's to ride before I come up there?
Ditches, fields, trails... We just want to get out and ride but want to make sure it will be fun.
Thanks in advance.
Titan: Sunday it is, what time you thinking, I could be at your place for 7:00AM? Sooner?
Quadtrash: Not sure about where you are at, but I am in NW Calgary and we got ch!t LOADS dumped on us, I am sure there has to be something local to hit up......
Yeah I have my daughter this weekend so next weekend is open. I have my company X-Mass party on Friday night so Sunday is best for me. Unless you want to just do 4-5 hours Saturday afternoon....... I will not be getting up early on Sat.
