I thought the same thing, of course the picture is cutoff juuuust right so you can't tell for sure. The other pic shows the yellow one with the same 2014 front end. Kind of interesting that the yellow model is in its own row apart from the X almost like its a specific model.
Snow is ok, but its hard and windblown now. I would go north towards Wapiti, the trail from Gronlid to Wapiti is actually pretty good (lots of places to go off trial) after the first about 10km through the field before the trail goes into the bush. There are some small elevation changes in the...
Just go to their website and give them your address, they send it for free no questions asked, you don't even have to show proof of purchase. Easily one of the best companies I have ever dealt with.
^^this. My buddy and I went to go out when it was around that temp. Could barely pull it over and would not start. Threw a heater on it for awhile and it started up. It will start when its that cold, but its the crappy small pulls you give it at the start that flood it and its a real pig after that.
Very cool looking, i like how it has the brace built in. Once again tho like most people have said, id hate for these heavier bumpers to transfer the damage to more expensive parts.
Ive been there with the unreliable sled. It takes a season or two on something reliable to get you feeling comfortable. Im still jumpy with every little new sound or vibration. I guess thats what happens when you ride a 03 rmk 800 for 4 years!
Hes asking for recommendations not asking you to sell him a sled lol...Sadly I don't know the used market that well but I assume you could get into a mxz rev chassis for that price, try to get one with a 1.5" track if you can. That way they aren't completely useless in the deeper snow.
You will survive with that sled...probably get stuck a decent amount but hey thats half the fun sometimes. Unless theres a couple feet of fresh, I doubt it will hold you back.
I can sympathize with what you're saying, he didn't have to reply the way he did and i'd react the same way. That being said I would assume the process doesn't take 2 minutes and isn't just as easy as throwing something together quickly to send you for free. Seems like quite the headache for...
The first pic was from Hudson Bay between christmas and new years. The second one was slightly north of Melfort over Feb break. That second one doesn't really do it justice...easily belly button deep throughout the field and armpit deep where it accumulated. Pretty excellent.
