If im on the trail and plan to be for more then 5 k i drop the sliders it only takes seconds and then you dont need to worry about it, if your out playing in the soft stuff all day you shouldn't really see anything over 140, If you notice temperature over 140F you should be looking for loose...
Depends on what you want to do with the sled, are you planning on making a ditch banger or a lake racer? Either way i would start with bar risers after that search old threads and see what apeals to you,
Just wondering what the life span of the chain is are you guys putting a new chain every year ? Every 2 years? Running it till it blows the case apart? Upgrading to a belt drive after 2 years? Whats everyone doing
My 2012 has a connector for the tether already wired in, just went to dealer bought a tether, plugged it in and mounted it beside headlight and bar warmer switches, the plug was in the black baggie thing by the overstructure
always just been told that's what im supposed to do when compression testing, id assume its just to open the throttle body to allow the maximum amount of air in to get a good accurate reading
i dont know how I broke mine I am assuming its from one of the many times the sleds been rolled, doesn't bother me much that it broke just wish it wasn't so expensive, or even if you could just replace the cast aluminum piece,
Just finished replacing mine yesterday, seems like a real high stress area, holding everything together so gets stressed from different directions, wouldn't be bad if the factory ones weren't $350, do agree though something stronger would be nice
pfffftttt with 100hp I don't think you would need a track just a good sand tire with 90 mph wheel speed would probably do hahah, yeeesh and I think my kxf is fast now would love to feel the pull with double the hp
