So are you guys sure that a challenger extreme 3" will fit with no issues on stock drivers with no drop/roll? It looks like there is just barely a 1" gap now stock, so that would bring it down to just under 1/2".
I'll sell the track for $700. The track is in excellent shape with 1800 km's on it. It is a 163x16x2.5" non ported stock 2011 track. No rips, tears or anything wrong with it and i have not been pinning it into stumps...was just joking.
cnelson has 3 important items, plus, I bring 2 lighters, a pack of fire starter sticks that light wet or dry and help to get the fire started plus 2 reflective blankets. All you need is a fire and water to survive for a couple of nights out in the snowy mountains.
thx for the input. I picked up some 1/8 rivet washers at Rona and then some other bigger washers to go up against those. ready for more trees now! maybe i should drink the redhot 100 before the ride down and not during a sidehill adventure clinic.
I am good at bumping trees from time to time and instead of buying new side panels, it would be much cheaper and easier to just rivet them together...but I want something that has large washers with a small hole in the middle, something that is designed for this. anyone know what they are...
Teth, where are you at? I would like to come pick one up. thx. i did over tighten it, that's a typical problem i have.
The speedo gauge is not working but i did not look at the digital display, i'll check it out for our ride on Thursday and let you know.
A sensor in the chaincase would be...
I have no idea how these things figure out how far they go...it can't be off of the track. and along with that is how fast they are going. So my speedo is not registering but the distance gauge works, what's bust?
also, anyone out there with a leaky oil tank cap? it looks like my tank...
Mud king, you don't need to drop n roll for a 3" on your sled.
I'll probably do this mod for next season...or, i'll be aiming for as many lumps in the powder as possible, just praying that i'll hit a stump with it pinned...lol...then new 3" goes on. it would be nice to upgrade the engine along...
I have never rode a 3" so I have no idea on how it actually handles. From my experience, every mod has it's advantages and then it also has disadvantages. I do mostly tight and technical tree riding, so from your experience a 3" is not good in these conditions? I guess it's probably a chute...
I'm going to stick on a Dayco XTX, plus I just geared my 11 etec 163 X down to a 20-49 from the stock 21. anyone else out there that has played with gearing on the etec's?
My stock belt got me 1100 km's and I pulled it off because the cords were just starting to peel so i got it off before it...
My 2011 800 is going in for the new top end recall probably in mid December, so I was thinking about making an extra special effort when everything is getting taken apart. If I could get an extra 10-15 HP's that would be great. Is there anyone around Calgary who does this type of...
