I have a 2012 Pro 163 and do a lot of tree riding. The 163 is what you want if you ride in deep powder. It doesn't seem too long. I've heard that the 155 can be more fun in terms of ski lift but you can adjust your suspension and get the 163 to lift too.
This is from today. Top of Koko Claims. 225cm (7'5"). Way more behind Mear (at least 2 feet of fresh since last weekend). We went over to the Bull River but the snow was so heavy and sticky it would instantly pack the A-arms so bad that you couldn't steer. So we turned around.
Just put a SLP lightweight can on my mom's 600 Pro RMK. It has a nice deep tone at idle but sounds stock at higher RPM. No bark. The nice thing about the SLP is it makes it easier to mount a muff pot/hot dogger. I've tried two cans on my 800 Pro, the MBRP Trail can and the SLP. The SLP has a...
This is still a safe spot, just not after is snows 5-6 feet in under 2 weeks. What I think happened is there was a huge mass of snow up on top of the vertical wall that let go and took what ever was beneath it with it.
Here's some pics from today. There are still some big cornices above this slide that haven't let go yet. Notice the diameter of some of the trees that were broken in half. Scary.
This article might be more appropriate for mountain riders. According to Carls Cycle, the 2013 Pro Rmk is 63lbs lighter than the 2012 Summit ready to ride without gas. The Summit has a smaller gas tank.

Here's a before and after shot of "Big Slide 2" This debris might have been from "Big Slide 1." After reviewing the helmet cam footage it looks like snow blasted through the trees from the right and NOT straight off the cliff straight ahead in the pics.
Here's a before and after shot of "Big Slide 1" from the Google Earth image I put up yesterday.

It was snowing when we came across the slide debris so I didn't get a good look at where the slide came down. I've seen those hollows filled up by a big slide years ago. It might have come down just to the right (when looking at the basin) of the area where there's hollows. More of a...
