I have these on a parts machine, so i could just swap out hoping all measurements are the same. If all is the same should just swap easily? Also its an old sled that my parents use mostly around the farm and the occasional river ride so using the parts we already have would be our preferance.
Who do you suggest to dial it in? MY biggest wory is doing this wrong and blowing it up.
My plan was to install it myself but with a new job and no place warm to work on it I havnt got around to it.
I hate working on recoils, it can go smoothe as butter or make ya curse for hours. I currently am not looking forward to fixing the recoil on my vintage sled, 73 Polaris with a CABLE for a rope.really hope nothin is broke inide I dont feel like searching for old parts.
I know i posted something like this before but ended up not getting it done and was only given one sugestion.
I live in Calgary but am willing to take the sled to Edmonton or anywhere inbetween, would just like to know where would be suggested from people with experience with the place nd...
It was $300. All new material, added foam, about a 10 day turn around. I thought about the Boss a lot but this is a little cheaper and I like the fact I still have the factory shape for the gas can, since Boss dicntiued their hardtail series for this sled I beleive. Volker writes the date on...

Maybe try a gun shop that sells scales that are used to measure powder for guys that reload their own shells.
Or try a hemp store, they usully have parafinalia, you could probably find a small accurate scale there.

Just looking for a GOOD place to take it
Also does anyone know what kind of price install and tuning would be??
I know I could probably do it myself but the realization has set in that if it comes down to working on this one or riding another this one will sit in the corner forever. (in the unheated poorly lit shop that doesnt help its case)
Besides, I am not exactly a fan of tweaking and tinkering, for...
I recently picked up a 1973 polaris tx340 and it runs strong but doesn't like to idle when hot and top end is rough, I think it just need some tinkering- maybe. Carb adjustment, jetting etc
I would like to find somewhere in the calgary or red deer area to take it to get it tuned in that is good...
